The Maimonides School Alumni Council, a long-standing support group that was reactivated in 2003, is our school’s connection to nearly 1,500 men and women. It continues our school's tradition of strengthening and enhancing the Maimonides-alumni relationship. During its first two years, the Council has formed an effective Steering Committee which consists of a small, active core of Boston-area alumni. They not only plan our many alumni programs and events, but they are currently working on a permanent structure for an Alumni Association. Among the Steering Committee's recent accomplishments are:
The group also hopes to arrange and encourage alumni educational and vocational networking, establish alumni clubs in the United States and Israel, and create an Alumni Association that will give every graduate a voice. The Alumni Council encourages Maimonides graduates to get involved—as class representatives, reunion volunteers, program originators, contributors and participants. If you are interested in reaching out to fellow alumni, both in your own class and across the generations, and in enriching the Maimonides family for past and future graduates, please join us. Contact Deborah Levisohn Stanhill ’82, Chair of the Steering Committee, and Mike Rosenberg, Director of Alumni Relations, at alumni@maimonides.org.
