FALL OPEN HOUSE WEEKEND
Pajama Havdalah Party

Put on your PJs, bring your favorite teddy, and snuggle up with Maimo as we bring in the new week with high spirits! Join current Kindergarten families and Maimonides staff for an evening of stories, songs and fun -- made all the more special by our Maimo ruach. This annual event is a highlight for children and adults alike. Younger siblings are encouraged to attend!
Elementary School Open House
Sun., Nov. 18, 2012 10:00 am - noon
Come join us to learn more about our school and the unique value of a Maimonides education!
10:00 am: Visit the Kindergarten classroom and meet our Elementary School teachers
10:30 am: Tour our school with current Maimonides parents while preschool-age children participate in classroom activities in our Kindergarten
11:00 am: Parent info session with our principals
Elementary School Open House

Our teachers and students are eager to meet you! Come visit us when school is in session. You may walk through the hallways to the strains of the elementary School Orchestra in a practice session, discuss self-portraiture with a 1st grade art student, sing along in Hebrew with a 3rd grade Chumash class, or catch a fly ball during a 2nd grade game of kickball.

Even if you’ve heard a lot about Maimonides, why not come see for yourself? You may have the chance to observe a 7th grade Biology Lab dissecting frogs, hear members of the Elementary School Orchestra practicing a Tchaikovsky arrangement, or watch 10th grade students skillfully debating the meaning of a Talmudic passage. Kindergarten Screenings

We are not only guided by the question, “Is your child ready for Kindergarten?” – we also strive to ensure that our Kindergarten is ready for your child. The Kindergarten screenings play a role in helping us identify each child's instructional, social, and emotional needs and best prepare for his/her arrival in the fall. While the children are engaged in fun activities, parents have the opportunity to meet and mingle. Magical Purim Party

Calling all current and incoming Kindergartners and parents. Join us for an afternoon of magical entertainment and wondrous fun. It's a great opportunity to experience the ruach and joy of a chag at Maimonides. Costumes are encouraged! Kindergarten parents can choose whether their child goes to a regularly scheduled After School class or joins us in the library.
