Field trips: Each week we will take one field trip. Our past field trips have included The Museum of Science, Glass Blowing Museum, New England Aquarium, Canobie Lake Park, and Wards Berry Farm.

Recess and lunch breaks are scheduled every day.  I will provide a healthy snack, but make sure your child has one as well!

CAMP SESSIONS AND THEMES

Week 1: Engineering and Technology

Campers spend the week acting and learning like an engineer! Through hands on projects, campers will gain the experience and confidence they need to design and build! Some of the projects include: creating racecars, roller coasters, candy towers, sailboats, robots and more! Campers get to bring home many of their projects and designs! This week campers will be exposed to science, engineering, and technology in a fun and challenging way.

Week 2: Art, Food and the Environment

Campers will explore the science behind cooking, art and the environment. They will use different materials to create pendulum paintings, tie-dye, and play dough. They will create their own mortar for a recylcled mosaic masterpiece! Campers will experiment with yeast to see how it makes bread rise, temper chocolate, make ice cream and explore their five senses. They will investigate solar, water and wind power through various activities and challenges. All week campers will experiment with color, food, recycling and green energy in a new and exciting way!
